Post-combat, I sacrificed Wort and three elementals for ], sacrificed the rest of the elementals to wipe the board, kill the player I attacked, bring the other opponent to 14, and re-cast Wort so I didn't lose the Pyrohemia. That last batch of elementals smashed into one opponent, trading with his blockers and dealing a bunch of damage.
One opponent finally wised up and didn't take the offers, but the other did. I sacrificed my two goblins and an elemental for Eternal Witness, grabbing the Tempt, sacrificed all but Wort and an elemental to cast Tempt, conspired. Both opponents took the temptation both times. I sacrificed 2 of my elementals for Regrowth on the Tempt, sacrificed all but two to re-cast it, conspired. Pact of Negation’s original use may have been to protect Dragonstorm, but it works just as well for any combo that has a definitive big finish. Forgetting about Pact of Negation (because its under my looted card without me realizing) I untap and attack him for lethal.

The official Wizards of the Coast forums have been offline for so long that a lot of people don’t remember they ever existed and I suspect that some of the independent ones have archived a lot of their old discussions, so I really need to tell you all a story about Pact of Negation.
